Thanks to this fatty food, the horse pad leather keeps its natural thickness under heavy pressure and absorbs shocks. horse pad also prevents water penetration. This horse pad in saddle leather fully protects the horse's feet, particularly the sole (the palmar surface for the forelimb, or the plantar surface for the hind limb).
