Ideal for horse shoeing, our horse pads are made with leather vegetable tannedso a non-allergenic leather.The leather used for our horse pads have a feeding in fat bath (mixture of paraffin and beef fat), called "tallow" leather. This feeding makes it easier to cut the leather horse pads. Thanks to this grease food, the leather horse pads regains its natural thickness under heavy pressure and thus absorbs shocks. The grease-filled leather horse pads also prevents water penetration. This saddle leather horse pads provides full protection for the horse's feet, especially the sole (the palmar surface for the foreleg, or plantar surface for the hind leg). Our leather horse pads is also compatible with all kinds of silicone.
In order to meet all the needs of farriers, our leather horse pads in saddle leather are available in 2 sizes: 18x18cm and 16x16cm, and in 4 thicknesses: 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm and 4.5mm (with a variability of +/- 0.2mm)
