half-backs are available in 4 sizes:

- from 1.81 to 2.00m² - minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 200cm & W =60cm.

- from 1.60 to 1.80m² - minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 180cm & W =60cm.

- from 0.91 to 1.00m² - minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 200cm & W =30cm.

- from 0.80 to 0.90m² - minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 180cm & W =30cm.

What is the tanning of the half-back?

The Niagara half-backs are vegetable-tanned and therefore non-allergenic. Vegetable tannins give firmness and resistance to elongation. The Boyoma half-backs half-backs are double-tanned, which adds suppleness to the leather.

What is the finish of the half-back?

half-backs are available in natural and aniline finishes. aniline finish black, chocolate, havana, cognac and Acajou finishes * only for Niagara leather.

Niagara half-back and Boyoma half-back, which to choose?

  • Niagara half-back natural and dyed being vegetable tanned, is a more ecological and non-allergenic leather. This full grain leather makes it possible to have pieces of harness without stretching and with a beautiful patina. Feeding thisNiagara saddle leather enhances its hue and patina.
  • The half-back Boyoma dyed with double tanning is a soft leather, but above all has a higher tear strength. This full grain leather has very little patina. Boyoma full grain leather requires no maintenance, even over the years.
