Ideal for horse shoeing, our horse pads are made from vegetable-tanned leather, which is non-allergenic. The leather used for our horse pads benefits from our fat bath feed (mixture of paraffin and beef fat). This fat feed makes it easy to cut the horse pad leather. Thanks to this fat feed, the horse pad leather keeps its natural thickness under strong pressure and absorbs shocks. The fatty horse pad also prevents water from penetrating the leather. This horse pad in saddle leather fully protects the horse's feet, especially the sole (the palmar surface for the foreleg, or plantar surface for the hind leg). Our horse pad is also compatible with all kinds of silicone.
horse pads In order to meet all the needs of farriers, our saddle leather horse pads are available in 2 sizes: 18x18cm and 16x16cm, and in 4 thicknesses: 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm and 4.5mm (with a variability of +/- 0.2mm).
