Full grain vegetable tanned leather

Pykara vegetable tanned full grain leather

Pykara leather is a saddle leather full grain unpressed, uncorrected, smooth grain and flesh. It is a vegetable tanned leather and therefore a non-allergenic leather. It is a very light natural leather, offering a pleasant sensory experience, reflecting the nobility of leather. Pykara leather is nourished with oil in emulsion. This is suitable for leather goods or leather goods requiring a high finish without fat.
Pykara leather will satisfy hot stamping, hammering, sewing and precise cutting. The saddle leather natural Pykara is ideal for embossing. It is also available in dyed pigmented finish.
It can be used for all leather goods, small leather goods and cutlery: belts, wallets, card holders, key rings, bags, purses, clutches, bracelets, watch bands, under-hand, knife cases, dog and cat collars, etc...

After 22 years in the computer industry and in the field of training, Mr. Pascal Camberlin wanted to reconvert to finally create something with his hands. He was first trained by Mr Eric Deneken - Eden Esprit Cuirwho transmitted to him the pleasure of working with leather and making beautiful products. It is then that L'atelier de N'ours was born where beautiful leather goods are entirely handmade: bags, wallets, belts, key rings, cases, etc.

Testimony of L’atelier de N’ours

"I want to integrate a maximum of respect for the environment, by using low environmental impact dyes and by choosing my leathers in tanneries with a true ecological approach and by working by hand. I chose Radermecker for simple but important reasons in my vision of leather work. The leather that is produced is in agreement with my ideas on ecology, it is located in Belgium, close to Normandy, which limits the carbon footprint. It is a real tannery with the concern of producing very good quality leather and not just being a reseller.

"Among the leathers I have tested, I like working with Pykara. It is very pleasant to work with, it cuts well, it is soft without being brittle, it glides well for embossing. The stain takes very well on it and this is important because I use a water-based stain. Even the work of the slices seems simple. This range of leather really allows me to create what I want.

"I use Pykara vegetable-tanned leather because it offers excellent working flexibility. From dyeing to sewing, it perfectly matches the desires of the creators but also of the customer. It is also a leather which, by its regularity and its excellent tanning of its grain, offers an absorption of pigments and water for a perfect and uniform dyeing on all the support. "

"In addition, the flesh side is also easily usable because I just line it with different fabrics or simply smooth it for a perfect aesthetic result. I also chose Radermecker's Pykara leather for its very easy maintenance and its exceptional patina which enhances our leather goods even more."
