The saddle leather Angel is an full grain leather unpressed, uncorrected, exposed grain. This leather has an aniline finish black, chocolate, havana and cognac, preserving the leather's natural appearance. It has a through tint and it is sublimated thanks to the velvet tinted flesh. This is a mineral tanned leather. It is distinguished by a strong suppleness giving it a silky touch throughout its lifespan. It will be able to perfectly absorb any food throughout his life. Angel soft leather comes from targeted beef or bull farms with their origins in France or Germany. Angel saddle leather can be used to make soft leather goods such as bags, aprons, "purse" purses, etc
Double Peau
Presentation of Double Peau
After a first life as a musician, Mr Sébastien Hervier turned to saddlery and leather goods and created Double Peau. During self-taught explorations, a brief training and meetings with a few artisans from Lyon, Mr. Sébastien Hervier acquired the know-how enabling him to start manufacturing small leather goods. He also develops the manufacture of covers for musical instruments.
Testimony of Double Peau
"I discovered Radermecker Tannery by watching videos of saddler-leather craftsmen (notably Éric Deneken). Going to the tannery's website, the photos of the leathers continued to pique my curiosity, so I ended up ordering a samples pack. I was definitely seduced when I was able to touch the leathers. The Angel range in particular immediately attracted me with its sensuality of its very soft and subtly greasy touch.
"I am also sensitive to the finesse and irregularity of the grain that runs through the hide and brings a unique nuance to each piece. This authentic touch is also underlined by the discreet and elegant presence of natural veins which bring relief and depth to the shade. In addition to these aesthetic and sensory considerations, I chose to trust Radermecker leathers for their resistance."
"Indeed, the fact that these leathers are developed largely to meet the demands of equestrian use is for me a guarantee of endurance and durability, in accordance with my production approach in saddlery sewing: taking the time to make a product that lasts over time. I therefore use the Angel range for the manufacture of my "Robin" fanny pack associated with the Niagara range for the shoulder straps"
