Leather straps

Ideal for the realization of leather goods or for harnessing, leather straps are vegetable tanned are available in Niagara leather shoulder strap natural or dyed in sizes 3*120cm, 4*120cm, 3*140cm and 4*140cm, and in Pykara leather natural or dyed in sizes 3*120cm, 4*120cm, 3*135cm and 4*135cm; and in Niagara leather half-back strap natural or dyed in 4 sizes 180*3cm, 180*4cm, 220*3cm and 220*4cm.

The stretched Boyoma leather straps double tanning and stretched Niagara leather straps vegetable-tanned, they are ideal for making stirrups and grith straps for horse saddles. Available in 2 widths: 2.5cm and 2.8cm; and 2 lengths: 130cm and 150cm.

Leather strips

If you need a long length of leather for leather goods or harnessing, vegetable tanned leather strips are available in natural leather or in aniline dyed leatherin sizes 180*30cm and 200*30cm.

Quarters of shoulder

The quarters of shoulder are shoulders divided in 2 on the width and in 2 on the length. The shoulder corresponds to the neck of the animal and is a part often wrinkled due to the movements of the animal's head. This part is very much in use as it can be lent in any direction. The quarters of shoulder are full grain vegetable tanned leathers. Natural leathers or aniline dyed leathers and dyed pigmentedThey will satisfy all leather craftsmen for the realization of leather goods. The guaranteed size of the quarters of shoulder is 40*60cm.

Half shoulders

Half shoulders are shoulders that are divided in two across the width. The shoulder corresponds to the neck of the animal and is an often wrinkled part due to the movements of the animal's head. This part is very much in use as it can be lent in all directions. Half shoulders are full grain saddle leather available in natural, aniline dyed and dyed pigmentedideal for the realization of leather goods and small leather goods. The guaranteed size of the half shoulders is 40*120cm.

Shoulders

The shoulder corresponds to the neck of the animal and is a part often wrinkled due to the movements of the animal's head. This part is very much in use as it can be lent in all directions. The shoulder is a full grain saddle leather for all leather craftsmen making leather goods. Shoulders are available in natural, aniline dyed and dyed pigmented. We offer 2 sizes for our shoulders:
- For Pykara leather in shoulder : from 1.20 to 1.35m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 80cm & W =120cm) - and from 1.36 to 1.50m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 90cm & W =135cm).
- For Niagara leather in shoulder : from 1.20 to 1.35m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 75cm & W =120cm) - and from 1.36 to 1.50m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 75cm & W =140cm).

Half back

The back consists of the shoulder and the butt. It is therefore a full hide from which the sides have been removed. Its advantage is that it allows you to work on very long lengths, as in saddlery for example. Half-backl are full grain leathers. They are available in vegetable tanning for the Niagara leather and double-tanned for leather Boyoma. Natural leathers and leathers aniline dyedHalf-backs are ideal for making harness parts. The half-back Niagara is also the ideal leather for making leather goods requiring a long length of leather, or a greater thickness of leather. We offer 2 sizes for our half-dossets:
- from 1.60 to 1.80m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = 180cm & W =60cm)
- from 1.81 to 2.00m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = 200cm & W =60cm)

Butts

The butt is one of the skin areas the thickest and firmest. The flanks, shoulder and all extremities have been removed. The butt is considered to be the noblest part of the leather. This area has no lining and can therefore be cut in any direction. This area is especially used for pieces that need more strength. Our saddle leathers stretched Boyoma and Gavarnie are pieces of butt leather, stretched Boyoma leather is used for stirrups and grith straps, and Gavarnie leather is used for horse saddle flaps.

Gavarnie flaps leather is available in halfbutt from 0.90 to 1.10m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = 120cm & W =60cm):

Stretched Boyoma leather is available in 1/3 butt in 2 sizes:
- from 0.50 to 0.70m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 130cm & W =35cm).
- from 0.71 to 0.90m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 150cm & W =35cm).

Stretched Boyoma leather is also available in stretched leather strap in 2 widths (2.5cm and 2.8cm) and 2 lengths (130cm and 150cm).

Stretched Niagara leather is available in third of butt in 2 sizes :
- from 0.50 to 0.70m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 130cm & W =35cm).
- from 0.71 to 0.90m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = 150cm & W =35cm).

Stretched Niagara leather is also available in stretch leather strapé in 2 widths (2.5cm and 2.8cm) and 2 lengths (130cm and 150cm).

Full hides, half hides and quarter of hides

A full hide includes the shoulder, butt and sides. The half hide is a full hide cut lengthwise from shoulder to butt.

Our Angel soft leather is available in full hide in 2 thicknesses 1.3-1.5mm and 1.8-2mm and in 2 sizes :
- De 5.00 to 5.50m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = Length mini 190cm & W = Width mini 170cm)
- From 5.51 to 6.00m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = Length mini 210cm & W = Width mini 190cm)

Our Hukou soft leather is also available in full hide in thicknesses of 2-3mm and 1.8-2mm and in 2 sizes:
- From 3.00 to 3.50m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = Length mini 150cm & W = Width mini 150cm)
- From 3.51 to 4.00m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = Length mini 170cm & W = Width mini 170cm)

- From 2.00 to 2.75m² (with guaranteed minimum dimensions L = Length mini 190cm & W = Width mini 75cm)
- From 2.76 to 3.00m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = Length mini 210cm & W = Width mini 95cm)

Our Hukou soft leather is also available in half hide in 2-3mm and 1.8-2mm thicknesses and in 2 sizes:
- From 1.50 to 1.75m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = Length mini 150cm & W = Width mini 75cm)
- From 1.76 to 2.00m² (with minimum guaranteed dimensions L = Length mini 170cm & W = Width mini 85cm)

Half hide diagram :

The quarter of hide is cut from a full hide, favouring the butt part.
