Features of the Angel half hide saddle leather :

Angel leather is the soft leather for leather goods. The Angel half-hide is a full grain  saddle leather unpressed, uncorrected, exposed grain. This leather has an aniline finish which preserves the natural look of the leather and all the beauty of the material and preserves the particularity of each hide. The dye penetrates to the heart of the leather and is enhanced by the velvet-coloured flesh. This leather benefits from an exceptional loaner. It is a mineral tanned leather. It is distinguished by a strong suppleness giving it a silky touch throughout its life, even under strong tensions. The passage of the hand on the grain is comfortable thanks to its grip, a grip to the touch. It will perfectly absorb any food throughout its life.

Origin of Angel half-hides :

Angel half hides come from selected beef or bull farms in France, Germany, Spain or Italy. To ensure the quality of the leather linked to its production, a leather traceability process has been set up at Radermecker Tannery. The hides are marked 3 times with 3 identifiers at each stage: on receipt of the hides, enabling traceability of the origin of the hides; during the tanning process; during the finishing process.

Uses of Angel half hide :

Angel half hide is ideal for leather goods: bags, purses, aprons, etc.
Angel saddle leather can also be used to make or restore chair or armchair seats, leather tablecloths or leather curtains.
Angel saddle leather can also be used to make horse saddle seats, horse saddle cushions and horse saddle flap linings.
Angel saddle leather can also be used to make linings for harness parts.

Dimensions and hide area of Angel half hide :

The Angel half-hide includes the shoulder, butt and sides, and is cut lengthwise from shoulder to butt. We offer 2 sizes:

• From 2.50 to 2.75m² with a length greater than 190cm and a width greater than 75cm
• From 2.76 to 3.00m² with a length greater than 210cm and a width greater than 95cm

Care instructions of Angel in quarter of hide :

For thecare of your leather, we advise you in general: to pay particular attention to exposure to light, which can alter the colour of your leather, to always dust your leather with a dry cloth before applying a specific treatment. In case of contact with water, let your leather dry naturally, at room temperature, without any additional heat source.
For the care of the saddle leather Angel: A food on the grain will allow to nourish the zones between the pores of the skin and the pores themselves. This is ultimately the same process as feeding your hands when the hide is dry. Our saddle leather Angel will resist moisture, just let it dry at room temperature and it will look great again. Moistening the Angel leather allows it to have more elasticity and longevity, the Angel leather will shrink during the drying process without altering the hand and its flexibility.
