Les contre-sanglons Boyoma étiré Chocolat sont des éléments essentiels dans l’univers de la sellerie. Conçus pour assurer une fixation optimale de la selle, ils garantissent une répartition homogène de la pression et offrent un confort incomparable tant pour le cheval que pour le cavalier. Fabriqués à partir de notre cuir Boyoma étiré pleine fleur, non pressée, non corrigée, au grain lisse. Ce cuir issu d'un double tannage : végétal retanné en minéral est retravaillé en humide et positionné sur cadres. Sous l'effet de la tension, il minimise son élasticité, son allongement et accroît l'absorption d'efforts directs sans altérer sa résistance en traction. Ce cuir bénéficie d'une finition aniline qui conserve l’aspect naturel du cuir. La finition aniline consiste à l’application d’une légère couche transparente, de faible épaisseur sans altérer la texture du cuir. Il est nourri à cœur en bain de suif (mélange de paraffine et gras de bœuf), plus communément appelé "cuir suiffé". Cette nourriture en bain de graisses permet une facilité de découpe et de travail ainsi qu’une résistance à l’eau plus importante. Le suif permet d’avoir un cuir sans entretien puisque la graisse se donne de façon constante en surface du cuir, lui donnant la nourriture nécessaire et une patine d'excellence. Grâce à cette nourriture, le cuir sellier Boyoma a une résistance avancée en usage extérieur, il rejettera toute perturbation extérieure (eau / environnement salin).
Our tests show that leather elongation over 1000 stretching cycles at 75 Kg is less than 6%. In addition, a 25mm wide, 4.5mm thick strap has a breaking strength of over 360 Kg, the average being 450 Kg.

To ensure the quality of the leather used in its production, a leather traceability process has been implemented at Radermecker Tannery. The hides are marked 3 times with 3 identifiers at each stage: on receipt of the hides, enabling traceability of the origin of the hides; during the tanning process; during the finishing process. Traceability covers sourcing, fulling, finishing and associated quality testing.

The butt is considered the noblest part of the leather. This area has no primer and can therefore be cut in any direction. This area is used in particular for parts requiring greater strength.

Food can be added to the bloom to maintain its greasy appearance or accelerate the leather's patina. This care of the grain ensures a longer life. Our Della saddle leather is moisture-resistant. Simply leave to dry at room temperature to regain its appearance. Because it is fed in a tallow bath (grease), a whitish film of paraffin can form on temperature shocks. Simply rub it off.
