Niagara saddle leather is 100% natural, full-grain, unpressed and uncorrected, with smooth grain and flesh. It is vegetable-tanned, and therefore non-allergenic. Vegetable tannins make the leather firm and resistant. It is heart-fed in a tallow bath (a mixture of paraffin and beef fat), more commonly known as " tallow leather". This nourishment makes the leather easier to cut and work, and gives it greater resistance to water. Tallow also ensures maintenance-free leather, as the fat is constantly added to the surface of the leather, giving it the nourishment it needs and an excellent patina. Thanks to this nourishment, Niagara saddle leather is highly resistant to outdoor use, rejecting any external disturbance (water / salty environment). This saddle leather is therefore suitable for intensive wear.

Origine et traçabilité des collets Niagara coloris Naturel :

Les collets Niagara coloris Naturel proviennent d'élevages ciblés de bœuf et de taureau d'origine France, Allemagne, Espagne et Italie. Pour assurer la qualité du cuir lié à sa production, un processus de traçabilité des cuirs a été mis en place au sein de la tannerie Radermecker. Les cuirs sont ainsi marqués à 3 reprises avec 3 identifiants à chaque étape : à la réception des peaux, ce qui permet une traçabilité de l’origine des peaux ; lors du process du tannage ; lors du process de finissage. La traçabilité porte sur l'approvisionnement, le travail en foulon, la finition et le test qualité associé.

Utilisations des collets Niagara coloris Naturel :

Les collets Niagara coloris Naturel peuvent être utilisés pour tous les articles de maroquinerie, de petite maroquinerie et de coutellerie : ceintures, portefeuilles, porte-cartes, porte-clés, sacs, sacoches, pochettes, bracelets, bracelets de montre, sous-mains, étuis de couteau, colliers pour chiens et chats, etc.
Il peut également être utilisé en ameublement : ou la restauration d'assise de siège de chaise ou de fauteuil en cuir rigide et épais, revêtement du plan de travail d'un bureau, revêtement des portes d'un dressing.
Le moulage et le marquage (à chaud et à froid) peuvent être réalisés avec le cuir sellier Niagara.

We offer 4 sizes:

• From 0.30 to 0.50m² with a length (L) greater than 40cm and a width (W) greater than 60cm.

• From 0.51 to 0.80 m² with a length (L) greater than 40 cm and a width (W) greater than 120 cm.

• From 1.20 to 1.35m² in size  with a length (L) greater than 75cm and a width (W) greater than 120cm.

   

• From 1.36 to 1.50m² with a length (L) greater than 75cm and a width (W) greater than 140cm.

Conseils d'entretien des collets Niagara coloris Naturel :

Thanks to tallow bath feeding, the fat is impregnated throughout the entire thickness of the Niagara saddle leather , so there's no need to feed over time. Food can be applied to the grain to maintain its greasy appearance or accelerate the leather's patina. This care of the grain ensures a longer life. Our Niagara saddle leather is moisture-resistant. Simply leave to dry at room temperature to regain its appearance. Because it is fed in a tallow bath (grease), a whitish film of paraffin can form on temperature shocks. Simply rub it off.
