Leather In a Box
Based in Weert in Belgium, Mr Paul Beckers created his leather goods company : Leather in a Box. His articles are entirely made by hand, including sewing, and with durable materials : vegetable tanned leather, accessories in stainless steel or cooper. The name of his company simply came from his concept of online store with delivery of his items carrefully packaged in a beautiful box : Leather in a Box.
"This bag is made from the "Niagara shoulder black". The material handles really well and is easy to work with. When polished, the black color has a certain depth and shine to it. Often I leave the edges in the natural color. Its adds some character to the bag according to me. Makes it stand out from others. A matter of taste, of course. When combined with brushed stainless steel items like buckles and claps it provides for what I would call a "pure" and often timeless product."

L/SCRNR
Mr Thom LeScrainier, working under the name L/SCRNR, produces small and medium leather goods, upholstery, decoration as well as many other leather works. His specialty remains the saddle stitch technique and a great knowledge of leather. He uses vegetable tanned cowhide leather. By respecting a few rules, in particular the divine proportion, his approach consists in modernizing the forms, and renderings using traditional and technological techniques and tools. He seeks to create unique, harmonious and timeless works.
All my items are hand-sewn with saddle stitch, so the choice of leather is essential and it is the Niagara that brings me the most satisfaction. It is pleasant to cut and sew. Once the item is assembled, its life can begin because the leather will polish and acquire a patina, darken and shine, soften in places while keeping its initial shape. A pure delight to see it evolve over time."
