Tessigraphes Design

Newsleather Radermecker - Tessigraphes Design

Mrs Flavia Redouin Innecco is an independant designer in the Lille Metropole. In 2016, she created the Tessigraphes Design studio, focus on circular design from upcycling materials. In her creative process, it is the materials that creates the products for which they are intended : They suggest her shape, inspire her to use the objects she designs. Particularly sensitive to subjects related to the recycling and upgrading of flexible materials, she supports her clients in a sustainable and responsible process.

"When I started the project of creating a line of accessories for Blancheporte, made of materials from the upgrading of household linen, I immediately thought of integrating details made in the beautiful hides from Radermecker Tannery on some models. It was important for me to also strengthen the regional character of this project, the pieces of which are made in Roubaix. For more consistency in the revaluing materials approach. Radermecker Tannery offered us to work on this project with production scraps of Pykara leather in natural tint, which will take on a beautiful patina over time. In addition, Pykara leather is a material that I also use with great pleasure in the leather workshops that I animate in my workshop at La Madeleine, for its softness and resistance."

Leather Seven Kingdoms

Newsleather Radermecker - Leather Seven Kingdoms

Based in Livarot Pays d'Auge in France, Leather Seven Kingdoms workshop was created by Jon. Long rider and hiker, for Jon, the use of leather was immediately necessary for a good practice of riding, with respect and in confort for the horse. It was during training for another job, in 2001, that Jon learned leather and its work. It is a real favorite. However, it was only 19 years later that Jon was able to get serious about his "second" job, which later became his unique job : Leatherworker / Saddler. After qualifying training and obtaining the UP2 from leatherworker's CAP, Jon is finally to design the ideas of his clients in order to facilitate their daily life, or simply make them happy .

"Like many, I started to practice on low-end leather. Very quickly I developed comfort in working with leather, and that's where Pykara leather from Radermecker Tannery arrived in my workshop. First, the visual. An impressive regularity leather, well nourished, very pleasant to the touch. The very pleasant smell of vegetable tanned leather perfumes the workshop, a real treat. I can not resist cutting my first pieces for a long time, the blade gently hugs the leather and it is gone ! After moistening the grain leather, I proceed to the embossing. And what happiness !!! A real treat ! The leather, well nourished, sculpts very gently, the patterns stand out wonderfully, I'm in love ! The only problem I have encountered with leather is that I no longer want to stop creating ;) ! Radermecker Tannery, whose the name is not a mystery, offers its customers top quality leather, thank you to all team. "

Fées et Cuir Workshop

Newsleather Radermecker - Fées et Cuir Workshop

Fées et CUIR workshop is based in Panissières in France, and was created by Mrs Marie-Blandine Vermorel. Passionate about manual work from a very young age, she discovered the work of leather thanks to the medieval universe. Painting porcelain and jewelry, Mrs Vermorel is attentive to details and finish. She first started making accessories for her costumes before diversifying into other areas. Her creations are entirely handmade, from patronage, cutting, decoration, dyeing and also stitching.

"I work mainly with natural vegetable tanned leather and Pykara leather is very pleasant to work with. Whether in 3 mm or 1.9 mm, this noble material is cut with ease as much with a cutter as with the awl. Even the neck "flaws" become interesting for unexpected renderings. As all of my creations always have a hand-dyed part, this leather does well even with water or alcohol tints and gives bright colors that last over time. It wets well and the embossing is a real pleasure with the hammer which slides along the grain leather in a clean and careful mark. I really recommend this leather for lovers of fine leather goods !"
