Tessigraphes Design
Mrs Flavia Redouin Innecco is an independant designer in the Lille Metropole. In 2016, she created the Tessigraphes Design studio, focus on circular design from upcycling materials. In her creative process, it is the materials that creates the products for which they are intended : They suggest her shape, inspire her to use the objects she designs. Particularly sensitive to subjects related to the recycling and upgrading of flexible materials, she supports her clients in a sustainable and responsible process.
"When I started the project to create a line of accessories for Blancheporte, made from materials recovered from the recycling of household linen, I immediately thought of incorporating details made from the magnificent skins from Radermecker on certain models. It was also important for me to reinforce the regional character of this project, whose pieces are made in Roubaix. For greater consistency in our approach to reusing materials, Radermecker Tannery suggested that we work on this project with offcuts from the production of Pykara natural leather, which will take on a beautiful patina over time. Moreover, Pykara leather is a material I also use with great pleasure in the leather workshops I run in my studio in La Madeleine, for its suppleness and resistance."

Leather Seven Kingdoms

Locatedin Livarot Pays d'Auge in France, the Leather Seven Kingdoms workshop was created by Jon. A long-time rider and trail rider, for Jon, the use of leather was an immediate necessity for good horsemanship, with respect and comfort for the horse. In 2001, while training for another profession, Jon was introduced to leather and its work. It was love at first sight. However, it wasn't until 19 years later that Jon was able to get serious about his "second" trade, which would later become his sole profession: Leatherworker / Saddler . After completing a training course leading to the UP2 CAP in leatherworking, Jon is now ready to design his customers' ideas to make their daily lives easier, or simply to please them.
"Like many, I started out practicing on low-end leather. I soon developed a feel for working with leather, and that's when Radermecker Tannery 's Pykara leather arrived in my workshop. First of all, the visual. An impressively even, well-nourished leather, very pleasant to the touch. The very pleasant scent of vegetable-tanned leather perfumes the workshop, a real treat. It doesn't take me long to cut my first pieces: the blade gently hugs the leather and off I go! After moistening the grain, I move on to embossing. And what a pleasure! A real treat! The well-nourished leather is gently sculpted, the patterns come out wonderfully, I'm under the spell! The only problem I've had with leather is that I don't want to stop creating ;)! The Radermecker Tannery, whose name is no mystery, offers its customers top-quality leather, and I'd like to thank your entire team.

Fées et Cuir Workshop
The Fées et CUIR workshop is located in Panissières, France, and was created by Miss Marie-Blandine Vermorel. Passionate about handicrafts from an early age, she discovered leatherwork through the medieval world. With a background in porcelain painting and jewellery-making, Mlle Vermorel has a keen eye for detail and meticulousness. She began by making accessories for her costumes, before branching out into other fields. Her creations are entirely handmade, from pattern-making to cutting, decorating, dye and stitching.
"I work mainly with natural vegetable-tanned leather, and Pykara leather is very pleasant to shape. Whether in 3 mm or 1.9 mm, this noble material is easy to cut with both a cutter and an awl. Even the "flaws" of the shoulder become interesting for sometimes unexpected renderings. As all my creations always have a hand-dyed section, this leather reacts well to both water and alcohol dyes, producing vivid colors that last over time. It wets well and embossing is a real pleasure, with the matoir gliding along the grain to make a neat, meticulous mark. I really recommend this leather for lovers of art leather goods !"
