La Charnaye

La Charnaye - Newsleather Radermecker

Based in Saint Martin sur Nohain in France, La Charnaye was created in October 2017 by Mrs. Sophie David. After graduating as a saddler / harnesser in 2013, Mrs. Sophie David continued to train in the Hermès and Chanel workshops. Back after a stay in Casablanca where she worked leather in an owner's stable, she follows a training of equestrian ergonomics. By listening and sharing her technical knowledge, her only aim is to meet her customers' expectations, while at the same time thinking for the animal's well-being. In addition to offering saddlery and harness equipment, the young craftswoman also makes leather goods, handbags, wallets, bringing her personal touch and attaching a great importance to the quality and the originality of raw materials and accessories.

"I have been using Niagara leather since the beginning of my saddle harness training, in 2013. It made sense tyo continue to use it because it is pleasant to work with it. RADERMECKER® manages to maintain a natural appearance, beautiful tints and a pleasant touch, elements that highlight this noble material. Many leathers have a "plastic" appearance, too uniform, without story. RADERMECKER® leathers give products an authentic look that contributes to enhance our craftsmanship".
