De Stoffeerder is a third generation family business located in Buggenhout, Belgium. Today, the company is managed by Mr. Sven Van der Straeten, and is specialised in complete interior services: curtains, upholstery and custom-made furniture.
De Stoffeerder maintains the traditions: a team of 10 qualified people, each with their own speciality. The works are 100% handmade, everything is produced from A to Z in their own workshop. This craftsmanship goes hand in hand with modernity, as 2 digitally controlled machines allow the company to process larger orders in a short time and with perfect precision.
"We had not previously used Pykara leather in our work, for example to cover furniture originally covered with saddle leather. Of course, the choice of leather is up to the customer. The owner of this set of bar stools chose Pykara leather: it looks good and feels soft. For us, every detail counts: you can see that even for the edge, we use the same finish in the same shade to give a smooth, detailed look. It is in Buissenal in Belgium that Mr Fabrice Delbart created his workshop of cutlery : Forge Celtique. He works withcarbon steel and damascus. To enhance his creations, he uses natural and stabilised wood. Mr Fabrice Delbart also makes his cases in leather.
For Mr. Fabrice Delbart, it is necessary to have a know-how but above all it is necessary to have a love of the material. For all his creations, he tries to find the harmony, the softness of the look, of the touch, so that the life, the story continues and that the purchaser can in his turn tell it. He hopes to keep alive the Celtic memory and the art of creating with his hands.
