saddlery leather Niagara is a full-grain vegetable-tanned leather with a pure aniline finish. Its 30% fat-bath heartfood gives it advanced resistance to outdoor use and an excellent patina.

Introducing Verbua
Mr Bastien Boisanfray and his wife Veronika have set up their leather goods workshop, Verbua, in Bratislava, Slovakia. Although Veronika and Bastien Boisanfray have decided to live in Slovakia, they have brought with them a "piece" of France in the form of a leather goods workshop that originally belonged to Bastien's father, Mr Thierry Boisanfray, who was a saddler in one of France's finest ateliers.
Today, the Verbua studio in Bratislava literally breathes leather. Handwork, traditional methods and quality materials come together. Their products are recognizable by their simplicity and purity of design, timeless and elaborate products that will please even the most demanding customers.
Verbua's testimony
" Niagara is an ideal leather for traditional saddlery-leatherleather goods . The vegetable tanning and deep nourishment combine strength, weather resistance and a certain suppleness. It's for these qualities that we've already made hand-sewn saddlebags from Niagara shoulders in the style of old-fashioned PTT mechanics' saddlebags, and we're convinced that with this leather they'll be just as durable. half-back is perfect for shoulder straps and belts. For us, the use of Niagara is part of an aspiration for simplicity: we enjoy working it by hand (cutting, sewing, finishing) and combining it with other traditional materials such as poissé linen thread, solid brass and beeswax, to make objects that embellish over time.
