Les Cuirs d'Agathe
Gold medallist in the Best Apprentice of France competition in 2013 by the Society of the Best Craftsmen of France, Mrs Agathe Demeure has created her workshop in Jeumont, France. Les Cuirs d'Agathe. A qualified saddler, harness-maker and shoemaker, she works leather with passion, creating and producing saddlery, leather goods and other items... Agathe Demeure works mainly to order. She can, for example, make handbags, harnesses, leather collars for animals, repair jackets and shoes, etc.
"I've been working withPykara shoulder for a few years now, and I'm very happy with it: it's a very versatile leather. I use it for both fabrications and repairs. Very pleasant to work with, wet or dry. black, chocolate, cognac, I can't say which is my favorite... If you opt for natural, its vegetable tanning will leave plenty of room for your creativity when it comes to embossing and dye."

Eden Esprit Leather
Afterseveral years of practice, Mr Eric Deneken gave up his first profession in 2007 to devote himself entirely to his passion for leatherwork and created his workshop-boutique "Eden Esprit Cuir". Since 2015, he has acquired the status of Artisan en métier d'art - sculpteur sur cuir. Mr Eric Deneken creates unique, made-to-measure pieces, always with a touch of fantasy: bags, belts, armors, waistbands, bracelets, helmets, bustiers and tunics. Mr Eric Deneken opens his workshop to various types of training courses.
"Artisan d'art sculpteur sur cuir, I've been working with vegetable-tanned leather for over 10 years. Constantly on the lookout for dyes, tools and leathers, I discovered Radermecker Tannery and its Pykara leather. I tested it in repoussage, in dye, and it offers all the necessary qualities. The pattern carving is precise and clean, with perfect color absorption even when using water-based dye , as in my case. Its good hold also makes it very interesting for the manufacture of a large number of objects. Specializing in saddle-stitch hand-stitching, Pykara reflects the care I take when assembling this noble material, perfectly highlighting the stitches made with linen thread."
