Locatedin Dottignies, Belgium, Hostens-Advantage offers medical pedicure and podiatry services. Their podiatry activity involves the design of"proprioceptive" walking insoles. Proprioception is a highly sophisticated internal system for maintaining balance. Hostens-Advantage uses Hannoki leather for the design of its insoles. Thefeet are the foundation of the system, so insoles that improve proprioception must be of the highest quality. The leather used to cover the corrections is in direct contact with the underside of the foot, and must therefore possess very specific qualities: suppleness, resistance and comfort.
