The shoulder Pykara is a saddlery leathervegetable-tanned leather dedicated to the leather goods. It is ideal for hot stamping, hammering, sewing and precise cutting. A very light natural leather, it offers a pleasant sensory experience, reflecting the nobility of leather.
For embossing or molding, onlynatural Pykara leather is suitable. Tinted Pykara leatherblack, chocolate, havana & cognac), with its pigmented finish, is suitable for "classic" Realizations leather goods (without embossing or molding).

Introducing Thanhsimone
Thanhsimone is a French brand of handmadeleather goods , created by Ms Thanh Le, a Vietnamese woman. She began creating this brand in France as a self-taught artist over a period of 7 years, making only products for her friends and family. True to her roots, she set up her Thanhsimone workshop in Saigon, Vietnam, in early 2021, and began developing her brand.
Her original creations are inspired by the plant world, with a style that blends modernity, classicism and architectural elements. Thanhsimone is 100% handmade with a real desire for elegance. The products are created with a unique design by passionate Vietnamese leather craftsmen.
Thanhsimone is also a rigorous selection of quality leathers from Europe, with a view to avoiding leathers from global production tanned mainly with chrome or heavy chemical agents. Leathers are therefore selected from tanneries using traditional vegetable tanning methods, which are more natural and ecological, limiting the risk of allergens and respecting the environment.

"We use vegetable-tanned leather, for its thickness and strength, to make saddlery products and small leather goods such as belts, card holders, spectacle cases and knife sheaths. But we want to use this leather to réalization more complex products with our own design. So I chose Pykara leather, one of my top choices. I love the smell of the leather, its very pleasant feel and its elasticity, which industrial leather never had. The leather is thick and strong, very suitable for our seamless creations. After working with water, it doesn't fade or lose its natural elasticity. What's more, it's the ideal leather for printing my design motifs on the leather surface."

Aurélie Thiry founded her workshop in Froidchapelle, Belgium: Leather & Cie. Aurélie Thiry creates unique pieces entirely by hand: embossing, dye, etc.
