Stretched Della leather is an full grain leather unpressed, uncorrected, smooth grain. It is a mineral tanned leather that is reworked in wet and positioned on frames. Under the effect of the tension, it minimizes its elasticity, its elongation and increases the absorption of direct efforts without altering its resistance in traction. This leather has an aniline finish that preserves the natural appearance of the leather. It is fed in a tallow bath, more commonly known as " tallow leather". This feeding in fat bath allows an ease of cutting and work as well as a more important resistance to water. The tallow allows to have a leather without maintenance because the fat is given in a constant way on the surface of the leather, giving him the necessary food and a patina of excellence. Thanks to this food, the saddle leather Della has an advanced resistance in external use, it will reject any external disturbance (water / saline environment). This saddle leather is therefore suitable for intensive use of wear as for the equestrian sector.

Testimony of l'Atelier d'Allie
"Having recently set up as a saddler/harness maker, I started working with Radermecker Tannery and have come to appreciate the quality of their products. I ordered the leather Stretched Della to complete two orders, replacing girths on a saddle and creating girths for a vaulting saddle."
"I enjoyed working with this very good quality leather to make these jobs which require a strong leather to ensure the longevity of the equipment and the safety of the riders, given the use they make of it. It is a nice leather to work with, which lends itself well to this kind of work. I really recommend it for anything involving strength work on leather, as it will allow the item to hold up well over time."
