Leather dyeing

Leather dyeing

Dyeing is the process by which leather is given colour. Leathers are put in a fuller to be dyed. Bath dyeing adapts to the fibres of the hide, enhancing and bringing to life their natural differences.

What is surface dyeing of leather?

The dye does not penetrate to the core, so the edge is the natural color of the leather. Our surface-dyed saddle leathers are : Niagara shoulder in cognac, Niagara half-back in cognac, Boyoma and Stretched Boyoma stretched.

What is mass leather dyeing?

The dye penetrates right to the heart of the leather, so the edge is colored. Our mass-dyed leathers are : Niagara shoulder and half-back in black, chocolate, havana and victoria, Angel, Pykara, Printed Gavarnie, and Detian split leather.
