Need a piece of leather for your equestrian tack? Choose our Boyoma half-back straps in aniline finish.
Strap features Boyoma Black :
Boyoma saddle leather combines robustness and resistance. It is a full-grain full grain grain and flesh, with a double tanning process double tanning: vegetable retanned with mineral. The mineral tannins provide suppleness and high resistance to breakage. This leather has an aniline finish which preserves the natural appearance of the leather. It is nourished throughout in a tallow bath (a mixture of paraffin and beef fat), more commonly known as " tallow leather". This fat-bath nourishment makes for easier cutting and working, as well as greater resistance to water. Tallow provides maintenance-free leather, as the grease is constantly applied to the surface of the leather, giving it the nourishment it needs and an excellent patina. Thanks to this nourishment, Boyoma saddle leather is highly resistant to outdoor use, rejecting any external disturbance (water / salty environment). This makes Boyoma saddle leather ideal for intensive wear and tear, such as in the equestrian sector.
Origin and traceability of lanyards Boyoma Black :
Boyoma Black half-back straps come from of targeted farms beef and bull from France, Germany, Spain and Italy. To ensure the quality of the leather used in its production, a leather traceability process has been implemented at Radermecker Tannery throughout the leather production process. The hides are marked 3 times with 3 identifiers at each stage: on receipt of the hides, enabling traceability of the origin of the hides; during the tanning process; during the finishing process. Traceability covers sourcing, fulling, finishing and associated quality testing.

Care instructions for Boyoma Black half-back straps :
Thanks to tallow bath feeding, the fat is impregnated throughout the entire thickness of the Boyoma half-back saddle leather , so there's no need to feed over time. Food can be added to the grain to maintain its greasy appearance or accelerate the leather's patina. This care of the grain ensures a longer life. Our Boyoma saddle leather will resist humidity. Simply leave to dry at room temperature to restore its appearance. Because it is fed in a tallow bath (grease), temperature shocks can cause a whitish film of paraffin to form. Simply rub it off.
