The quality of our vegetable-tanned Pykara shoulders with pigmented finish for your leather goods creations

Pykara shoulder Cognac saddle leather features:

Pykara Cognac shoulder is a full-grain saddle leather full grain unpressed, uncorrected, with smooth grain and flesh. It is vegetable-tanned and therefore non-allergenic. A very light natural leather, it offers a pleasant sensory experience, reflecting the nobility of leather. Pykara Cognac shoulder is nourished with emulsion oil. This is a liquid oil feed that we add to our drums. The leather will absorb the oil in order to be nourished. This is suitable for hide or leather goods requiring a high fat-free finish.

Origin and traceability of Pykara Cognac shoulders :

Pykara Cognac shoulders come fromtargetedlivestocks of beef and bulls from France, Germany, Spain and Italy. To ensure the quality of the leather used in its production, Radermecker Tannery has set up a leather traceability process. The hides are marked 3 times with 3 identifiers at each stage: on receipt of the hides, enabling traceability of the origin of the hides; during the tanning process; during the finishing process. Traceability covers sourcing, drum, finishing and the associated quality test.

Pykara Cognac shoulders care tips:

The food will remain on the surface of the leather without penetrating the grain side, as the pigments form an impermeable protective film. Food can be added to the flesh side of the leather to restore suppleness.
