Opt for the quality of our vegetable-tanned Pykara shoulder straps with pigmented finish, for your finest leather goods creations.
Pykara Cognac saddle leather strap features:
The Pykara Cognac shoulder strap is an unpressed, uncorrectedfull-grain saddle leather with smooth grain and flesh. It is vegetable-tanned and therefore non-allergenic. This saddle leather benefits from a pigmented finish, which consists of applying an opaque layer of pigment to completely cover the leather's asperities, ensuring good protection against light, rubbing and stains. The appearance is less natural than the aniline finish. The Pykara Cognac strap is nourished with an emulsion oil. This is a liquid oil feed that we add to our drums. The leather will absorb the oil in order to be nourished. This is suitable for hide or leather goods requiring a high fat-free finish.
Origin and traceability of Pykara Cognac straps:
Pykara Cognac strips come fromselected beef and bulllivestocks from France, Germany, Spain and Italy. To ensure the quality of the leather used in production, Radermecker Tannery has set up a leather traceability process. The hides are marked 3 times with 3 identifiers at each stage: on receipt of the hides, enabling traceability of the origin of the hides; during the tanning process; during the finishing process. Traceability covers sourcing, drum, finishing and the associated quality test.
Pykara Cognac strap applications:
Pykara Cognac straps are ideal for sewing and precise cutting.
They can be used for all leather goods, small leather goods and cutlery: belts, bag handles, bracelets, watch straps, dog and cat collars, etc.
