One leather, one story: discover our Pykara natural leather

TRALINLER workshop

Nice guitar strap

For guitar fans, you've come to the right place!

This month we're featuring a guitar strap, sculpted and hand-dyed by the Tralinler workshop.

Here's a glimpse of the work they've done: everything is handmade ( strap, half-moon and die-cutting), and the embossing is classically done with a matoir for the trunks, while the details of the branches are done with a stylus.

For the dye, the reddish-orange color is achieved with aqueous bases in multi-layer work for the gradation, followed by a good buffing to bring out the light-colored hollows on the redwood.

black areas are treated with a mixture of vinegar, iron acetate (rust)and oak gall. Pykara is well-suited to this kind of mix, and can be used to make gray, woody and deep black .
